Skin-Perfecting Smoothies to Try Before your Wedding Day

I've always been a smoothie lover, in fact every few months I do a bit of a detox for an energy boost, refresh and to flush out any toxins. The best thing about smoothies, is they're almost an instant fix for congested skin, fatigue and the god almighty eye bags. Tempted? Yeah I thought so...
Ladies, it's time to swap out the breakfast-time tea and coffee!
Planning a wedding is a
magical time: you're stressed, running on caffeine
and haven't eaten a truly nutritious meal in days. Planning a wedding or not,
we've all been there. No need to panic! Instead of putting unnecessary pressure
on yourself researching ridiculous restrictive diet plans that may only make you unhappy, take a delicious approach to brighter
mornings, dewier skin, and the most important - energy, with a blend of everything you might already have in the fridge.
I've been doing a bit of research and have found the most gorgeous looking and of course tasting smoothies highly recommended by professional dietitians and nutritionists to ensure you're feeding your body with ingredients that get the job done, when no amount of highlighter, moisturiser, or face mist can bring your dull complexion back to life.

Dairy-Free Tropical Sweet Green
''Fruits like mango and papaya are packed with vitamin C and collagen, whilst coconut oil is rich in healthy fats for glowing skin and provides energy without putting on extra pounds. Turmeric is an anti-inflammatory herb great for skin and can help reduce darkened patches. Adding several drops of liquid chlorophyll to your smoothie will give you some of the skin-related health benefits of a large portion of greens, without having to eat a huge salad.''
I'm not sure about you, but this has my name all over it!

Berry Banana Bliss
''This berrylicious smoothie is created with rose water, nut milk, bananas, raspberries, goji berries, and Berry Bliss superfood powder (you can add any superfood powder) Blend all ingredients in a high-powered blender until smooth. Add more ice or milk as needed. This cocktail of superfoods is bursting with nutrients that'll give your skin a natural, beautiful glow!"

Smooth Apple Zinger
"Granny Smith apples are a great base for a smoothie because they are rich in vitamin C, which is essential for collagen production. Add in avocado, a great source of healthy fats for soft supple glowing skin, and kale, which contains significant amounts of chlorophyll to help remove toxins from the body and improve skin quality. Mix it all together with probiotic-filled vanilla yogurt to promote healthy digestive function, which directly affects the quality of your skin for the better."

Banana-Nut Blemish Blaster
Need to get rid of a breakout fast? It's packed with flaxseeds, which contain tons of omega-3 fatty acids to keep inflammation under control, and blueberries, another anti-inflammatory and stabilizer of blood glucose and insulin levels."

Ginger Glow-Getter
1 teaspoon E3Live's Blue Majik
''You are what you eat''...we've all heard that one before! Avocado gives a boost of healthy fats to give your skin that wedding-day glow. Coconut water hydrates with electrolytes, which is important for the you, the bride, who will be (on the morning of your wedding day) pulled in many different directions and not have the chance to drink a lot of water. The protein powder will help keep you full in case you don't have the chance to eat much (whether that's on your wedding day or throughout the week before) The greens also give the skin a hydrated, youthful glow, while also providing fiber and the lemon gives vitamin C to boost the immune system, to help avoid any honeymoon colds."

I know...spoilt for choice right? The good thing about all these detox smoothies is you don't have to consistently drink the same one for 1-2 weeks before your wedding day, you can switch it up depending on what you fancy and what your feel your skin and body needs, which makes it that bit more exciting and less of a chore.
If you do give any of these smoothies a go, I'd love to hear how you got on and what our results did for you and why not get your fiancé involved?
Comment or simply email me, this kind of stuff excites me!
