Deposits

In order to reserve your wedding date, a deposit of 50% of the overall wedding day makeup quote is required. The deposit is only refundable 2 months post making payment and is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. If your wedding day is post-poned for any reason, your deposit will still be secured, however on the occasion another client is already booked on your new requested date, Vanessa Elles Brides reserves the right to only refund 25% of the 50% deposit already paid. The deposit will be applied against your final wedding day makeup invoice NOT your trial fee. Please note the deposit and trial fees are SEPARATE fees. Once payment is received, Vanessa Elles Brides will send you a booking confirmation and will then proceed to organise a trial date with you.

Trials

Trials are an optional, but highly recommended service to ensure the perfect look on your big day. Trial quotes will be included in the bespoke quote Vanessa Elles Brides sends to you, however travel expenses will not be applied until a pre-discussed location has been confirmed. Trials are held from Wednesday to Friday and Sundays subject to availability. Payment for trials must be paid latest the day before the agreed trial date. Vanessa Elles Brides holds trials during daylight hours only as it is crucial that there is natural light when applying makeup. Trials can take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours depending on the service and the look you desire to achieve. In the event that a client wishes not to continue with a booking after the trial, the trial fee is NON REFUNDABLE. If a second trial is requested, the price will remain the same as the first trial.

Vanesa Elles Brides only offers trials to the Bride, Bridesmaids and Mother of the Bride.

Travel Fees

All travel fees for your wedding day makeup are included in the bespoke quote Vanessa Elles Brides sends to you upon enquiring. Please note this is also written in the small print at the bottom of your quote document. Vanessa Elles Brides charges £0.45p/mile unless a client is based within High Wycombe. All parking fees will need to be covered by the bride/client.

Payments & Invoicing

The final outstanding wedding day payment (50% of overall quote) is due to be paid 2 weeks prior to the wedding day. All payment details will be noted on the invoice. Late fees will apply to any payments that go over the 2 week margin prior to your wedding day and any additional accessories or specific products you wish Vanessa Elles Brides to purchase will be listed on your final wedding day invoice.

Assistants

For large bridal parties or early morning ceremonies, it may be necessary for Vanessa Elles Brides to bring an assistant with her in order to complete your booking size in a timely fashion. If this is the case, an assistant fee of £100 will be applicable.

Destination Weddings

For all Vanessa Elles Brides clients getting married abroad, Vanesa Elles Brides will book all their own flights, travel to and from venue and accommodation. There is a meal per diem applicable to all destination bookings at a total of £45/day. Vanessa Elles Brides makes every effort to book the most affordable flights and accommodation for all destination clients. Due to loss of earnings when travelling for destination bookings, there is s standard charge of £175. Destination weddings are subject to all the same invoicing & cancellation terms stated above.

Last Minute Bookings

Any bookings made within 12 weeks of a wedding date is considered a last minute booking. All last minute bookings are subject to the following payment terms:

• Trial payments including travel fees to your desired trial location will be due 1 week before the trial date
• Deposits of 80% must be paid upon receiving a quote from Vanessa Elles Brides and are non-refundable once received.
• All last minute wedding bookings will be required to pay their final invoice of 20% within 5 days of their trial date.
• Should a client wish to book a secondary trial, Vanessa Elles Brides reserves the right to refuse based on scheduling

Social Media/Marketing

Unless expressly stated by the client in writing, all images taken by Vanessa Elles Brides, of the client or member of the bridal party, may be used by the artist/Vanessa Elles Brides on social media, websites or for marketing purposes.
